At Edmund Tie & Company, we recognise that as part of the wider community, we have the responsibility to be socially active so that the communities we operate in can benefit from positive change.

People are the bedrock of society and an individual’s potential can be limitless. Therefore, our CSR projects aim to empower people to achieve their goals, regardless of the circumstances they were in. We are also committed to sustainable practices that are environmentally responsible.

Organisations we have worked with include:

EDIS Cares
Edmund Tie & Company organised a charity movie event for beneficiaries from EDIS Cares, the CSR arm of the Economic Development Innovations Singapore (EDIS). Children from underprivileged families enjoyed a rare weekend movie treat held at GV Suntec City with our staff. We have also worked with them on an art competition in 2017.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Singapore
Our CSR team arranged a tie-up with RMHC, which provides a place for parents to stay with their children seeking medical help at the National University Hospital (NUH). Staff members made trips to visit the kids, played with them and gave them a hearty dose of happiness. Separately, we also sold socks and packed “tubs of love”, which included necessities and everyday items to the families for Christmas.

Boys Brigade Share-a-Gift
Every year, staff would come together and donate daily necessities such as rice and oil, to beneficiaries of the Boys' Brigade Share-a-Gift programme.
