SENIOR MANAGER/ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, RESEARCH

The senior manager/associate director will propose, create and present top quality data-driven analysis and insight on trends in the real estate market. As this is a HQ role, the incumbent will also provide leadership to the research teams in the regional offices. You will lead in ensuring that Edmund Tie & Company’s data, analysis and expertise is evident to the business community including the Company’s clients, as well as media and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Formulate and drive a value-adding research strategy.
  • Maintain and improve the Research databases so they are robust and in line with market practices.
  • Produce insightful analysis and thought-leading research to help form house views with internal stakeholders.
  • Support and collaborate with business units including China Desk, with data, analysis and thought-provoking insights.
  • Engage with clients and the media.
  • Provide team leadership.

Key requirements:

  • Experience in data-driven market research;
  • Critical thinking skills for managing and undertaking data collection and analysis;
  • Ability to communicate and explain data, information, methodologies and results effectively;
  • An ability to multitask and work effectively with business development and other colleagues; and
  • Strong interpersonal, people management and organisational skills with proven experience in leading small teams.
