Advisory notice: Unauthorised correspondence mis-representing ETC

We would like to alert our clients, partners and members of the public to a recent incident involving the unauthorised use of ETC’s name, logo and corporate details in a letter circulated to individuals associated with one of the properties under our management.

The letter in question was neither issued nor endorsed by ETC, and it contained misleading information relating to payment procedures. Our branding elements, including the corporate name and logo, were used in an unauthorised and inaccurate manner.

In line with our commitment to transparency, we are issuing this advisory as a precautionary and educational notice.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind all clients, stakeholders and members of the public to remain vigilant and to verify the authenticity of any correspondence claiming to be from ETC. In particular:
• All communications and transactions should be conducted via our official channels and authorised personnel;
• Payments should only be made to verified, company-designated accounts;
• ETC does not issue letters or request that payments be made to third parties, unless formally authorised in writing.

ETC takes a serious view on any misuse of our corporate identity, and we will not hesitate to take appropriate legal action to protect our clients and stakeholders, and to uphold the integrity of our brand and services.

For any questions or to verify the authenticity of any communication pieces, please reach out to us directly via your usual ETC contact or through our general enquiry channel.

We appreciate your attention and cooperation.
